Doggie Play Day

I had a great time on Sunday with Emily, our friend's daughter. Even though she is only in 5th grade, her and I are kindred souls. You see, we both LOVE dogs. Above is Emily rolling out the doggie cookie dough. They were super easy to make. The peanut butter ones have 4 ingredients: milk, flour, baking soda, and peanut butter. The other kind we made were oatmeal beef. They had flour, oatmeal, beef drippings, beef broth, and milk. We tried to make both kinds with all organic ingredients.
Above are the 4 shapes we made. That tree looking thing is a fire hydrant, and of course the cross because our dogs love Jesus.
Above is Delilah, Emily's puppy. She just turned one, but will keep growing for another full year. She's a Dry-mouth short haired St. Bernard. More importantly, she is a sweetheart like her owner.
Emily poses with a small tray of the finished doggie biscuits. Oh how Boedy wants one.

And now Boedy is taking one.

If you look carefully, the top corner of the tray is missing 3 cookies. Boedy kept stealing them! Look at him licking his chops.

Oh how cute! What a fun doggie play day! Thanks, Emily, can't wait to do it again!
